Minute cryptic

Two under par, I didn’t like that one.

Same. Got fixated on the wrong other meaning of scales

These are a bit too easy, but have whetted the appetite - would appreciate if they did a more advanced level for people who know cryptics but don’t have the time to do a proper crossword.

Having done a couple of these I nailed a quick cryptic (not the regular cryptic) in the guardian on Friday. I felt great but then looked at it yesterday and was totally lost again!

Didn’t like yesterday. Did like today.

Yesterday my only qualm was not being very familiar with Drano, other than a reference in some punk song I can’t remember

This is often the way for me. I get too impatient/start to think I must be going about it wrong so get some clues or letters. Then it turns out I was on the right line just didn't sit on it for long enough.
