I enjoyed: kayak/canoe slalom and especially cross. Climbing. Wind surfing and kite surfing. Track cycling. Diving. Rowing. Bmx. Pidcock, Yee, Turkish shooting guy, Remco's celebration under the Eiffel and (obvs) Raygun.
Can live without: walking. Breaking. Boxing. Tennis (though Murray's tight matches were exciting) regular and table, most of the sailing coverage was awful (though I do like it) , surfing (did it even happen apart from that photo), horsing, fencing, ribbon dancing, underwater dancing, badminton.

I'm glad to hear France repping their electro talents.

I haven't watched as much sport since 2012, probably a time zone thing. Did enjoy the extreme canoeing.

In 4 years time; Squash, cricket, flag football, lacrosse, baseball, softball and beach sprinting! Hopefully a jet pack or two as well.

I like the music and I'm enjoying reading about the delphic hymns which I wasn't aware of previously. Feels like Woodkid had some involvement in the whole thing but there might just be a shared French vision for this kind of show and performance.

Liked the river robot horse, hope all horses at the olympics are robotic one day soon. All the cycling esp Pidcock coming back with that last minute overtake and the BMX. Like the colour palet and general design and look of it all, good use of Paris for lots of the events.

I didn't feel the BUZZ for Team GB, sure finished well up the medal table, but not quite there, too much sofa, too much like DayTime TV,too much focus on the Athletics, we're average at it. And some silly non sports that stretch the thing too far. I do like the idea that the Australian Breaker was a protest, I don't want it there either.

I'd give it a Bronze medal.
