Peaty positive for covid - makes his performance last night even more ridiculous. I did wonder when he said he 'had a little something on his throat'....

The French chap just absolutely destroyed that slalom!

• #307
He's probably had a lot more goes on it than anybody else

Are you going for gold in the 'Les Misérables'?
The beach volleyball looks so cool in front of the Eiffel tower, the horses amazing in front of the place etc, I'm sure they are allowed to have a less vibrant skateboard park.
Edit - sorry that reads ruder than in my mind, I just wanted to make the french Joke.

Hope a lot of the sailing is on the BBC today. Should be good if it's as windy as here.
Rowing lake is like a mirror this morning, wonderful footage.

Fair, I just remember Kuwaiti guy winning a medal in the last 2.
Competed under the Olympic flag. -

I only know it from computer games.

Amber Rutter might win.
The two disciplines at the Olympics (Olympic Skeet and Olympic Trap) aren’t particularly popular in the UK

Why would they be when we release 45 million pheasants into the countryside each year so rich wankers can blow them out of the sky?
-
• #323
I’m not very up to date but there was surprisingly little overlap between clay pigeon shooters and rich wankers
-
• #324
I shoot clay pigeons quite a bit. I've never shot pheasants (or any other game come to that). Not sure whether that makes me a rich wanker or not?

Isn't that his point?
It's like target archery vs. bowhunting.
That wasn't the final pass
