Oh yeah, all part of the sneaky sneaky ...
The worst part is that it is a textbook example of fake news radicalisation; my dad was a factory worker and my mum a teacher, dad voted labour, mum swung a bit between the two. But they both have such a bubble now from Facebook that their perception and ability to think critically has been massively perverted.

Jesus. I'm lucky that neither of my parents use Facebook. They just read the Daily Mail instead.

Typical slap dash erection of the banner from the Tories. #brokenbritain

Let's spare a few thoughts for Allegra Stratton.
Without her admission of party nights at No.10, (caught by a tv film crew), we might still be suffering under a Johnson mal-administration. -

More than just an over the counter drug, wasn't she?

Would recommend doing the rest of the theme park during the busy part of the day then back to the Peppa Pig part towards the end of the day when queues are smaller.

Appreciate it. Thanks!

I wonder when she will resurface?

Either that or do Peppa as soon as the gates open. We did that last time and it worked out really well.
Also bring swimming stuff for the water play area. -

Went out nice and early this morning to vote. Sun's out. It's my birthday. Lovely day to give the Tories a kick right up the ballbags.

Presumably when he doesn't, in fact, resign in a few days time that'll be because of some other reason that's popped up to allow Corbyn even better / more nefarious control somehow

We e still got Ukraine to deal with and we aren't exactly replete with armaments or personnel. I think you are safe.

I'd still take an each way on 2 or 7.

No queues in Putney at 11am.
Will be an interesting constituency.
It was the ONLY constituency to go from Con -> Lab in 2019.
However, there are a disproportionately high number of families sending their kids to private schools who probably don't appreciate a possible 20% hike in school fees (one person I play football with is definitely voting Con over this). There's also a few local issues related to housing/planning that are rumbling on. Should still be a Lab victory though.

I’m 100% clear that any Labour government is better* than any Tory government
Not sure if Starmer's Labour will be much less shit than Tory governments between WWII and Thatcher? He seems to be basically a non-rabid Tory, like bloody Albo over here.

As far as British politics goes right now that's a raging endorsement.

Just had this conversation with a pink haired lady making my coffee. Her point was that she’s worried this election might spell the beginning of end of the Labour Party, if they 1) receive a massive mandate and are unable to deliver, decreasing support for them in the future, or 2) move further right from their current centre-barely-left to keep their new base, changing them into Conservatives 2.0.

The only way is up... One would hope, at least.
Watch out for the vicious arrogance of a government with no viable opposition, though... That shit's not pretty. Our state Labor government here in Victoria really started taking the piss after the 'Liberal' party completely shat the bed.

Posted my vote in last week, but OH said at 11am our polling booths were empty.
While Labour have made impressive gains and Reform have stolen a good chunk of the Tory vote it looks like the morally flexible Dowden will keep our seat.

24 hours and five pages ago; you can't be bringing yesterday's news to the table round these parts

@RishiSunak Polls are open.
It’s time to stop the Labour supermajority that would mean higher
taxes for the rest of your life. -

A govt led by a man who thinks a sandwich qualifies as a meal. This explains a few things.
except that's not the wilhelm scream?
