Broad and shallow no?

The Sun (won't link) has come out for Labour, but in the most mealy-mouthed and limited way.

There are still plenty of concerns about Labour.
They do not have a clear plan for getting a grip on immigration, legal or illegal.
They have ruled out increases to VAT, income tax and National Insurance - but, as independent think tanks agree, under Labour taxes are going up. They just haven't admitted which ones yet.
Sir Keir, an ex-Remainer, now talks of wanting closer ties with Brussels - which could mean sacrificing some of our newly-won Brexit freedoms.
He has a mountain to climb, with a disillusioned electorate and low approval ratings.
But, by dragging his party back to the centre ground of British politics for the first time since Tony Blair was in No10, Sir Keir has won the right to take charge.
We will hold Labour to account, without fear or favour.
But we wish them every success.

So, if you can't stay up all night, but want to see the Tory wipeout live, what's the best strategy? I'm thinking bed at 8pm, up from 1-5am, couple of hours sleep before the school run?

Gotta see the exit poll. Then two hours kip.

Then sleep from 4.30 til 7.

Yeah, watching telly at exactly 10pm is a must as the legal restrictions on political reporting end there and it usually goes BANG into an exit poll.

I'll be in the pub after 5-a-side and either watching on a big screen or on phone/iPad if the pub isn't showing it.

No interesting results before 2am.

Exit poll. 4hrs sleep then power through until Friday.

I don't have a TV making watching anything rather moot

yup, that aligns to the time I've been advised for the count in my ward.

I'm doing election observing tomorrow for the Greens, so I get briefed on timing, etc... and 4am is the expected finish for the ward I'm in.
