I'd wait until you've finished wind tunnel testing before forking out for a fancy stem

They sort of sun bleach over time I wouldn't worry about it, they're also super nice to ride - would you think about a 7-10deg stem with no spacers vs the -17, might me nice w/ the angle of the tt?

^ this, a less steep one would look better here i think

Stem is iconic.
Fat amey used to go to Condor every weds after work, jorts, soma rush, chrome mini messenger. Then cycle home and down 3x Stella pint cans.
This stem took me straight back.

commuter for this week
Iโve done 10,000km so far on the road bike this year. I was hoping for a bit more by now but Iโve had a lot of illness (again). still a couple more months to get another 2 and a bit in, on the new bike.

Iโve kindly been given a set of these.
Not much information out there on how to get them correctly assembled.
I need a spider: 24mm for 4 bolt chainrings. There are some on Aliex from STONE or Pass Quest for a decent price. But I do not understand how they are attached to the cranks, I cannot make sense of it in my head.
And then from there I have no idea what other small parts are needed to make them work.Anyone with a bit of knowledge, please lend some help?

Spider just bolts on. Any of the ones that have the smaller spline and a lockring won't work
Why have they been separated? Good luck finding one

I have the bolts, thankfully.
Just when I look at this I don't see how that secures it. Maybe it will when it's infront of me.
I suppose the reverse side has some indent to allow the bolts to secure.Other than the spider is the anything else needed?

I can sell you this .. do you have tool to install tho?
i like the functional stem, you never see a designer turn up to the show in dressed as its clients, it's often the no name brand they found in their mothers closet with the shoes from last season.
