Probably not quite 32c clearance but some of the latest rim brake models like CAAD13 or giant TCR would have a bit more clearance than your bike

The CAAD12 fork will clear a 32 GKSK with a Sram Rival caliper but the rear brake bridge is usually the issue on any bikes designed to use short drop calipers.
There was someone a while back talking about putting an RD hanger on a Steamroller and i remember thinking why the fuck would anyone do that...

A mate of mine has put 1x10 microshift on his steamroller. Spaced the rear dropouts, put a hanger on etc.
Honestly I dont think it rides great but he likes it.
If I were to do any mods like that, it would be on a Kona Paddy Wagon, they are a more relaxed road geo than the steamroller and can easily take 35c.

But don’t do it. I did on my SJS and it was awful. -

Check out on the secondhandmarket Black Mountain Cycles 'Road'.
Unfortunatelly discontinued in 2020. -

Warnings duly noted.
Current contenders are a 53cm Honky Tonk (why am i now looking at wrestling figures on Ebay) or maybe a CAADX/Crux/Tri Cross. There's a Crux E5 frameset available but it's maybe more slammed than i'm after right now and has annoying PF BB.

This guy said it only clears 28c tyres with the mudguards...

I think we had this discussion in a previous sales thread but if you go canti caadx make sure you size down. 54 is BIG.
Also an old Jake the snake could be an option.

Yeah, almost made that mistake already. Stack and Reach looked perfect before i spotted i'd need a step ladder to get on the thing. Even the next size down has a bigger standover than the road models. Really not sure it makes sense to go down the CX frame route, once i get into canti world i may as well pick up a disc bike frame.
Plus some #influencer has just put together a really nice Midnight Special that looks like a lot of fun.

That crux e5 frame on ebay could be sweet tho?

Embrace the way of the disc. Herein lives contentment. All problems are resolved. Seriously, there is much to be said for embracing the modern. Modern frames and kit permit one to go further faster with less effort. I should know because my CAAD 12 is brilliant compared to my retro frames.

I've been looking for those many times but I never see them for sale. I'm after one in size 61
Re. the Salsa Casseroll, the sizing is a bit unique. How tall are you?
-
• #66
Lol. I totally hear you on the cx front and agree, but as you’re finding, it’s harder than it should be to find a sporty rim brake frame with clearances.
-
• #67
Did someone say midnight special?
-
• #68
Not rim brake. Important requirement.
-
• #69
Oh yea I see what you mean, the 58 has a 60cm seattube. I'm 6'5 and the 60 (61cm seattube) would be perfect for me.

Dolan Prefissio - takes long drop rim brakes. Designed to feel like your sporty road bike just with clearance for guards etc. Extra weight but that's less noticeable than you'd think.
-
• #73
That is PERFECT!
Thread ended. -
• #74
Dolan's website says the Preffisio only takes up to 30mm tyres (28mm with mudguards).

Old Kinesis 4S? Didn’t get on with mine but I don’t think the heavy wheels and dynamo lights did it any favours.
(Pictured with 32mm tyres)

Ye right, I am going to run a shim and a 27.2 post tbf...Should sort that out .
I want to find a Ritchey Canti fork eventually, but right now I have a full carbon, straight blade canti fork from a high end Jamis hybrid that ill sand down and paint.
