Bicycles hanging out by the fire is nice

That de-escalated quickly

That corner is crying out for a nice, messy pond and a host of grateful wildlife.

^ so you can get bitten to fuck while doing your inspo outdoor cooking 😉
-
• #62
Hold up, rewind. I didn’t say I’d actually be doing any cooking.
-
• #63
Fear not, we have plans for one out the front. I’d love to do a pond, read bed, bog thing with the run off from the roof. One day.

The skip is coming tomorrow so time to start sorting stuff out.
There will be some bike related stuff going in, but before it does I’ll post it on here as freecycle/forum donation. Will include;
A 30’s 40’s BSA bike
30’s Pashley ladies bike
A couple of 70’s frame sets one customised
A 90’s trek mtb frame
Various forks
Some wheels
An SWorks frame
Etc
Etc
Once I’ve sorted it out it’ll be up. -

That’ll do for the weekend.
I know it’s not level, but fits, liz has picked a colour for the summerhouse as well. So that’s nice.
The tiny butler’s / science sink is going to work perfectly.

I’ve been a bit lacks on this today as I went and picked up the cargo bike and I pulled the hotrod out and washed it, ready for its photo shoot tomorrow. Got to make it look as nice as possible for the sales advert.

It moves on. 414 pavers moved and more levelling done. Time for lunch and then maybe just maybe a bike ride¿!

Good work. What's a hot rod like to drive?
-
• #74
TBH Tetanus (the rod) isn’t really like normal hotrods. Most of them are as fast as you like in a straight line, but not so hot when it comes to the twisty bits and ride like they are both under sprung and jarring at the same time. I didn’t want that so it’s really more like a lotus 7 or a lightweight sports car @Jonny69 old man set his coupe up in the same way and it’s fair to say he drove it like I drove mine, like we stole them.

Another couple of hours spent levelling and moving stuff around. Also managed to score an extra 30 slabs for free. The Peacock tinted stain has arrived for the summerhouse and that should be with us midweek. Still a way to go, but it’s moving in the right direction.

it probably says more about my mind but this thread is always misread by me as "cant shart into kitchen" when i don't have glasses on
