Personally I think the Tories are getting my vote. I want this "War on Motorists" ended. It's getting ridiculous how difficult it is for drivers these days.
You've just been getting fat behind the wheel, haven't you?

this seems to be telling me who to vote for as police commissioner ^ not the local elections ?

Totally with you on this.
Since all this ULEZ crap and LTNs and other ACRONYMS, London's air is slightly cleaner, and roads a little quieter. Ugh! -

DOWN WITH ACRONYMS!

Isn’t the point about abolishing NI by rolling it up into Income Tax that, because pensioners don’t pay NI but the wealthier ones do pay income tax, it amounts to a tax increase on wealthier pensioners?
I mean, I don’t think I have a problem with that, but I can see why it’s awkward for the Tories.

You need to click the "Show me the May 2nd elections" bit after the PCC information appears.

Unless you're a Tory.

I know I shouldn't read the comments but the stupidity in the comments is amazing.
The majority of people are simply forgetting that most IDs expire, so it's quite easy to end up in this situation.
-
• #7695
Unless you're a Tory.
In which case, remember votes for them should be cast on Friday.
-
• #7696
It’s worth mentioning that expired IDs are totally fine for voting too, as long as it still looks like you (so no baby passports or whatever!)
-

(so no baby passports or whatever!)
They're really making it hard for The Young to vote

Voted! Go vote!
thanks @c00ps and @andyfallsoff
i agree with you comments. I guess the issue is that no party is going to promote
"let's get rid of national insurance... and raise the basic rate of tax to 25% and the higher rate to 50%"
or whatever the numbers would have to be to make it work.
the obfuscation of true tax rates, and the deliberate over complication of the tax system is a long running source of frustration.
