And even when called out, the slimy weasel didn’t apologise
Standard public school / Tory stance - never admit mistakes, never apologise. Signs of a fragile ego as well as obvious cuntdom...

He's been doing more of these needlessly antagonist moves recently, wonder if Dom is at the wheel again.

seeing the only time a trans person is humanised by either parties politicians or lobby journalists, be having the the mother of a young girl who was murdered, in part by the vicious, transphobic policy and reporting all people in and around that house have circulated for years, makes them all, regardless of party, look like pond scum tbqh.
i hope this is a turning point for them all, who have agreed on voxpops and policy, that trans children can't know they're trans, that trans women are a danger to women, that a "debate" over trans people and their right to be recognised is needed, that trans people should be seperated in various public spaces, in a bi partisan fashion, to start reversing these views in policy and media.
if we can see this so clearly when confronted with the tragic murder of a trans child, we should see it for the children and adults who are still alive.

"go on, do a trans joke, it will be hilarious!"

Unfortunately, I think there is a sizeable chunk of the party who will see riling up Stonewall as a victory in itself...

Sunak at PMQ's calling out Starmer for not knowing what a woman is while Brianna Ghey's mother in the gallery, stay classy
That's one of the worst things I've ever seen at a PMQs. Sunak is a weasel.

Precisely

• #6509
I've just seen this, so despicable, what a horrid little men he is.

i hope this is a turning point for them all
Voiceover: It wasn't.

Outstanding. Truss has done more for the cause of the Left in the last two years than anything else. If she is seeking to create a cuntocracy she is well on the way.
Roll on the general election

Exactly, it's why he can't apologise, it undermines it being a dog whistle he uses most weeks
-
• #6513
Badenough wading in to the fight now.
-
• #6514
For a short while last year, I used to make lunch during PMQs and Sunak made at least one transphobic crack every week. It's on his culture wars bingo card.
-
• #6515
I’m shocked at how upset I am by this. How could anyone with any sense of morality, make such a crass and ill-judged ‘joke’ about this horrific murder. That he is PM shames us all.
-
• #6516
I can’t believe I thought she’d be a good PM. Until I read about her. She nasty
-
• #6517
It's weirdly out of place how he dropped it in today also. Even the faces behind him were like "huh?" for a second.

Indeed. I thought that Sturgeon was right to point out that if Breanna's mother was not there nobody, on either side, would have batted an eyelid.

But hadn't Starmer invited Breanna's mum as he was due to speak about her at PMQs?

What's going on here? A sensible comment from a Conservative MP on trans issues.

She was invited by her local MP to discuss mindfulness in schools.

She's part of the 2019 intake who know they'll be losing their seats at the next election. She doesn't have to follow the party line of being an appalling human being all the time.

Given that he had earlier praised her mother in the same session, but didn’t have the awareness to flex his rehearsed lines to omit his ‘joke’, my view is that he’s generally a bit dim witted.
It’s the sort of thing I’ve witnessed in client meetings when an untested junior person has a section later in the meeting. Earlier on, a client might state something critically relevant to that section, but the junior person gives the same talking points they’d planned, showing that they just didn’t get the relevance and context of the earlier part of the meeting, either through not paying enough attention, or simply not really properly understanding what’s going on. In this case - and a lot of cases for Rishi - it’s obviously the latter.
He’s completely out of his depth at this level of politics.
-

I’d disagree with Sturgeon on that. No one has been good at it, agreed, but it’s been front page news all week. Another reason to suggest Rishi doesn’t get it.

It’s sickening. So depressingly shameful.
Utterly foul. The Rwanda bet was horrible, this is just unconscionable, that sneerin Head Boy tone he uses.
