  • Love the unintended message behind it: Sunak’s a PM who doesn’t know what’s going on in his office, whose staff walk out on him without telling him, who can’t even ensure basic arrangements such as holiday cover are in place. All this probably paid for by a toxic American megacorp (and the UK tax payer since he was presumably still being paid when this was shot).

Also, why does he hold a pen with 4 fingers like a child would?

  • The cat clearly hates him. The mouse-faced cunt.

  • Also, why does he hold a pen with 4 fingers like a child would?

This was the stand-out for me too, although it left me wondering if I hold a pen wrong and everyone else does like Rishi.

  • I wonder if they had to cgi the cat to making it look smaller in his arms.

  • It's like they make this stuff just for the hate clicks it's so bad. Or his team hate him.

  • His claw hand while writing is terrifying

  • I think he's lost his team. Lost the dressing room.

Whoever let that picture of him on the plane "working" with the top still on his pen; that picture must of been seen by so many, either they weren't bothered or didn't care any more.

  • Why’s the prime minister fucking around so much when there’s more important things to do?

  • Johnny Mercer meltdown on Twits yesterday with an offensive rant at Carol Vorderman

  • Shameful video during a cost of living crisis for many.

  • And they continue to absolutely smash it https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2023/dec/29/tory-mp-james-daly-struggling-children-bury-north-crap-parents , can’t wait for his hot take on his governments achievements since 2019 (only elected then so while I don’t let him off the hook for previously I don’t want him overwhelmed by the task)

  • When I see the story I was assuming this was from some kind of closed doors conference or similar, not a newspaper interview with him.

  • At least we are in no doubt what the “New Conservatives group stands for”….

  • Meet the New Conservatives, same as the old Conservatives.[/daltrey]

  • Indeed, although what used to be absolute swivel eyed wingnuttery on the fringes are now core values

  • I think New Conservatives represent very much working-class conservatism. We’re not a strange rightwing sect

    good to know.

  • “Hi, I’m Big Ted, I’m not a banana”.

Unless, hang on, they are bananas attempting to hide in plain sight.

“It’s a bold strategy Cotton” etc

  • His majority was 105, it shortly won't be. This is his bid for the chance to run in the election after next in a nice rural seat where they still read the Telegraph and Express.

We live in an era when Ken Clarke would be too left wing for Labour and Adolf Hitler would be considered a moderate Tory.

  • It is one of the ironies of our politics that the party which claims to believe in
sound money, the rule of law and the acceptance of individual responsibility
does precisely none of these things when in power.
Instead we witness a variety of Tory party apparatchiks thrashing around
blaming everyone but themselves for our current lamentable state. This is little more than an emotional spasm, blaming the victims and lashing out from within the 'bunker'.
It really is simple: enable people to obtain the basic necessities to live a dignified life and hey presto they do!

  • Genuinely intrigued if Dom Cummings comments about UK nuclear weapons might be a tiny bit classified

  • Obviously honours are complete bollox, and I’m not sure that this is the right thread, but a knighthood for Tim Martin and nothing for Kevin Sinfield (and so many more)? Really?

Can I nominate Lineker and Vorderman for services to winding up reactionary Tory twats?

  • Can I nominate

What do you think this is? Some sort of democracy???
