What an unfortunate coincidence; Steve Barclay's wife Karen works for Anglia Water as Head of Major Infrastructure, can Rishi not catch a break?

help stem the rising tide of racism
They have to take some major responsibility for this.

She's full on batshit eh? Fuck me what a caper 😂

On the plus side Rishi agreeing to any old shit she said to get elected leader and then ghosting her is perfect Tory playbook.
She sounds like Stan

The shorthand of 'stop the boats' is hilarious how it is employed. So unspecific, just stop that thing now! Also interesting to see she has finally joined most other people in criticising her own Rwanda plan.

the fucking gall for any Tory to get all uppity about someone ‘breaking their promises’ is beyond belief.

Remind me, were boats crossing the channel a thing before Brexit?

Since she's at a loose end at the moment, she could always work as a secretary for Andrea Jenkyns.

It’s a desperate attempt to wrestle the headlines back from the Cameron thing. And it comes across as properly desperate too. Her ego has taken a serious dent from not being on any front page today.

Is she on 'Florida' mission to ban books and purge teachers ??

We got Brexit done so we could stop the boats and grow the pie.

how was her punctuation ?

I think she started a sentence with "And", does that count as punctuation fail? Not sure should be mention it as I can't write for toffee.

I thought it was Priti Patel's plan?

were boats crossing the channel a thing before Brexit?
A little. It used to be a lot easier to cross the channel in trucks on ferries or on a train. Extra security and checks have made that route much harder so people have switched to boats in greater numbers. Probably.

True, she was so into it, I thought it was her plan:
Mrs Braverman - who once described the policy as "my dream, my obsession"

Come on, she’s dumb and evil but she’s not completely stupid. She already broadcast yesterday that she was going to be writing a more thorough resignation letter today. I doubt she gave a single fuck about the Cameron headlines. She kept her powder dry and now she’s going to dictate the front pages tomorrow. It’s hugely unlikely that the news cycle is going to swing back to Cameron (no one really cares anyway), especially if a significant section of the Tory right rally around her (likely) and then strive to make shit awkward for Sunak (likely).
One of the few sentences she got right.
