Well if breaking the ministerial code is a problem now he might look at Braverman
-
• #3053
Yes - Raab and Braverman out too please.
-
• #3054
And potentially a retrospective punishment for Priti Patel?
-
• #3055
Wow. Zahawi's letter. Not a hint of contrition or apology. "I'm great and it was the media's fault".
-
• #3056
pretty sure he thinks the only thing he did wrong was get caught and that's the pesky journalists fault
-
• #3057
If he wants to get shot of all the ones who deserve sacking at once, he should just do a reshuffle the whole lot out.
Can these fuckers just resign and call an election? I’d say it’s a win win for the Tories. The country is in such a state that in all likelihood the next 10 years is gonna be an absolute shower of shit no matter what. They might as well wash their hands off it. Or do we reckon they need another 6 months to break up the NHS?

Pretty rich from a tax dodger who threatened legal action against those raising wholly legitimate questions about his tax affairs.
-
• #3059
I love the blatant disregard for anything bordering on honesty from the Tory’s at the moment.
problem I.e sexism, homophobia allegations of rape, watching porn in the commons, tax evasion, fraud threatening behaviour, shagging anything that moves, coked up at work. The list goes on and on.
What problem
There is no problem
The problem is resolved
We see no problem
He’s been sacked -

Watched the risible attempts by Jake Berry to kick the Zahawi can down the road on Question Time, all “wait for the inquiry and establishment of facts” (didn’t engage with Fiona Bruce saying the facts had been established hence the penalty).
Anyway, good outcome - Zahawi out and his arrogant entitlement reinforced with his letter, Sunak further exposed as indecisive and weak.
Thoughts turn to Mone v Vorderman, should be entertaining

• #3061
This is part of a much bigger problem. Successive governments basically righting the wrongs of the previous before they can even begin to do anything good

And we had Gove on earlier saying what a wonderful PM Johnson was and how great it would be to have him back. The same Gove that only a while back was in the press saying Johnson just wasn’t up to the job. There are already cunts talking about what job Zahawi can have next.
On another note, it’s all gone very quiet re Michelle Mone lately, in the press.
-
• #3064
Why?
I probably should have qualified that but the boss of HMRC is a civil servant.
You're right in that Commons Committees have no power, but good luck lying to a Commons Committee as a civil servant.
-
• #3065
I dont know how Raab has got back in again, he's another serial useless cunt.
-
• #3066
Express speculating that Bojo will replace Zahawi as Chair.
I presume it’s just a thickbait article but even so… -
• #3067
30p Lee is being mentioned too.
-
• #3068
Grayling hopefully.

Yes, but what have the Tories ever done for us?
-
• #3071
Put us deeper into the shit and on the very of selling off the NHS.
-
• #3072
Meantime, this shit looks likely popping back up out of the pan and becoming ‘my’ democratic representative
And I though Howell was beyond the pale (pail)

Could be a good opportunity for a Martin Bell style independent candidate?
Excellent. Fuck him. Raaaab next, then Mr Sunak.
