I know nothing about focus groups and how the info from them is used, but doesn't it seem a bit silly to have a focus group of five people and report their comments as possibly representative of a population of 70,000?

I’m not sure that this is the right thread but given the Tories are the most egregious piss takers it’s as good as any.

Surely someone has to take being an MP to the logical conclusion - get elected and do absolutely fuck all for 5 years, no going to parliament, no constituency surgeries, all while drawing down £400+k in salary and claiming as much on expenses as possible and getting some sweet, sweet consultancies. Ideally you’d also do your existing full time job.

In the current climate stand on an “anti cunt” ticket in what has been a safe Conservative seat. Offer up nothing but pointing the finger at the incumbent. When things get tricky straw man and gaslight for all you are worth, if it gets really problematic just go red faced and repeatedly bellow “define your metric”.
