It’s a beaut!! Well done with getting the EPS cable through the stay. Super tidy build and you have managed to get the interface installed very subtly with the heat shrink. But..That front brake cable poking out past the brake pads is giving me anxiety 🥲

Ha ha, cheers. You want it cut shorter? I always have them this length!

Yes shorter - to the end of the caliper arm. Or even better, Contador style 😎 just the cable end showing.

Photographed here in its native France on a recent trip, along with a photo of it next to my 595. Please ignore the state of the gaff.
I finally chopped the steerer fully. I also found some yellow Speedplay pedals on eBay so now I have a yellow pedal on the DS and a blue one on the NDS which, along with the red Campagnolo carbon brake pads, match the Mondrian accents on the frame. No-one has noticed this fact yet and I’m sure no-one will notice this fact. When I told my partner that I’d done this she snorted and undoubtedly thinks I’m daft, but I’m sure it would bring a wry smirk to the lips of Piet as it does to mine. Have done about 2,500 km so far on it and very happy with it.

@getoutofbed please forgive that I’d still not cut the brake cables when taking these photos. Rest assured I have since done this.

Sorry if i missed this but whats the total weight on this beauty?
If I wasnt consolidating my stable to 100% cannondale this would be one of my top picks

Not sure as I’ve not weighed it since I built it and I’ve since changed a bunch of parts. I guess somewhere between 7.1-7.3kg. The boras are quite porky

How does the berk hold up on longer rides, compared to the previous saddle?

Well I just rode 210km on it from Cornwall to Devon and no discomfort to report.
I just picked up a -12 sworks stem to go on my 'dale (that I never ride)
I'm not pro enough for a -17
the look is looking great!
