50mm mate - 100mm drop on a gravel bike seems wild 😂
I’m imagining going face first over the bars before you could descend something steep enough to need a 100mm dropper 😂
-
• #78
I’m quite tall, 50mm wouldn’t get it out of the way enough!
Tbf I’d probably walk down any bits steep enough to warrant it… 😂
More just for some of the swoopy trails that are more mtb-y around here, would be nice to get the saddle right out the way sometimes! -

I can sell you 50% of an MTB which will get you way closer to that than a dropper post…..

I don’t know why I insist on riding my gravel bike over the four mountain bikes I have in the garage 😂

Do you know what shape the fabric saddle is? Interested if it's 'flat'
-
• #82
Think it’s a scoop mate
-
• #83
Yeah I think the scoop model comes in three different shapes (flat/ shallow/ radius) and a few widths. I'm after a 'flat' 142mm.
Should say under the nose what profile it is.

I just got a Specialized Epic HT 2017, hoping to make it as nice as yours! Is the dropper still available and would you consider selling it individually for 70?
-

Hey mate
It is, and more than happy to - it’ll be another thing out of my storage unit!
Pop me a PM!The epic is a bloody great machine - managed to get mine down to sub 9kg and it’s so much fun - great to race on aswell.
I just need to remember to pump the tyres up above 5psi…. -

Further price drop to £220 for the lot

Maybe time for Pinkbike? I hear they like the rough stuff!
-

Would you sell the xfusion on it's own? It's to go on my Chisel, which already has all of the other parts on it:)
-
• #91
I mean, you can take the finishing kit, including the dropper, for £105, or the dropper on its own for £75.
It’s priced to get rid of bits that are taking up space as a bundle, rather than representative of the cost of the parts, as the RRP on the dropper is something like £200! -

Ridiculously cheap prices. I sell of all my mtb stuff on STW now and just post freebies on here as there just doesn't seem to be an audience for it. I'm amazed the forks and dropper haven't sold.

Is the dropper £50 including postage. If so I will have it.
Cheers -

Dibs on the lot - DM incoming.

I’m baffled mate
There’s loads of people on here who have mtbs, and a lot of likeminded individuals (read: idiots like myself) that would use such cheap parts to give another discipline a try - XC is now my fave!

Thank the lord 🙏🏻

I would have then everything but that fork steerer was too short unfortunately.
What’s the drop on the x-fusion post? Might be keen if it’s 100mm.
I’ve recently discovered that gravel riding isn’t possible without a dropper.
