What are the specs on the speedvagen? Top tube, seat tube, BB to rails, and head tube? Is it only routed for etap? Could have a three way trade.

Popcorn stuff this! Would be amazing if it could happen. Both (All?) bikes on here are great.

• #29
Would you potentially be interested in selling without the groupset?
-
• #30
Yes, this is a frameset and seatpost and headset sale 👍🏻👍🏻

I've still not forgiven you either... ;)

PDW fenders in the photo above now included in the sale

Fantastic looking frame set. What size tyres are fitted? 28s?
-
• #38
Cheers, largest tyres I own at the moment are 27c Open Pave - combined with the wheels as shown they come up larger, 28c will fit no problem (but the pdw guards limits tyres to 23/25c depending on brand/rim combo)

I keep revisiting this thread.
Can you picture it with the seat post set up so BB to rails is 79cm?
Can you also advise what the routing is? Can it take conventional mechanical routing?
-
• #40
hello, yeah I'll get the picture shortly however the bike is split down and I'm using the spare saddle on something else now but will do my best...
It is designed for conventional mechanical routing only it was a custom order to have the downtube cable stops added to the headtube which keeps things looking tidy with mechanical or electric... I've covered the electrical routing I did in the link https://www.lfgss.com/comments/15352423/

Don't worry about putting a saddle on. Just want a visual sense of how much post is showing at that measurement.

Centre of bb to centre of where saddle rails would be is 79cm as pictured below

^it needs a wipe down as it's been gathering shed dust...
-
• #44
hmm - would be fairly aggresive. Do you know what the headtube and seattube angles are?
-
• #45
I'm afraid I don't know... not sure how to measure either... where are you based?
Happy for you to take a look at it in the flesh -
• #46
No worries -i am fairly sure they will be the same as standard vamoots and I have found the geo chart
-
• #47
I went into Condor and they set up the geo for me on their jig. Another inch in reach and I could've made it work. Dammit! GLWS

Hi Matty,
I've been watching this sale too and am seriously tempted. Probably the only time I could ever own a Moots! I'm worried that it could be too long a reach for me also. @hobo how tall are you, although I know height is a really bad bikefit guide? Is it too big for you, or too small? I'm 5'11'' with short legs :) Very nice frameset anyways...
Not sure why I'm asking these questions as I can't expect anyone to assure me this will fit, but thought I should register my interest at least. GLWS -

I'm 6'1 and the reach is too short. I think at 5'11 you'd be in the realms of it fitting.

Can't you solve it with a long stem?
Sorry, just re looked at the photos and noticed that I’d not sorted the seat post out in either of these…
73cm as pictured below - plenty of seat post left so could go higher…
