Wagner approaching Moscow now. This is going way too fast. Needs to be a long drawn out bloodbath and let Russia weaken themselves until extinction.

I love it that they are driving up the M4!

Personally I’m not keen that mercenaries paid by some lunatic are advancing at the speed of light. Much rather see them fighting a prolonged civil war and eating themselves. If you think that hot dog salesman is an upgrade on Putin than it’s time for a reality check.

I know Reading is a shithole but it’s odd to think Wagner Group feel the need to bomb it into oblivion.

Apparently they've stopped in Leigh Delamare services for the toilets.

Should NATO send arms to Putin to prevent Wagner victory?
-
• #4159
Not sure if serious.

let Russia weaken themselves until extinction
I assume you're talking about the military here but the phrasing sounds more than a bit shit

Yeh Luka's family jet going to Turkey late last night isn't the most reassuring sign

All revolutions end up with a temporary government mess. Even if this works, I doubt there won't be infighting among the mercenaries and other interested parties. Hot dog salesman wouldn't hold power for long.
I feel it won't come to that though, Putin might give a few positions to him and his friends and that's that, back to Ukraine.

Think that's where it falls down and why they have felt happy letting Prigozin gain so much power, supposedly he has no political support outside of Putin, so even if he was victorious, doubtful he won't be forced to hand over power rapidly
All the existing structures are still coming out backing Putin but that could change with the wind if his downfall becomes inevitable

Can't believe he got to the so close and bottled it

Screens of him saying he spoke with lukashenko but didn't agree anything and that talks of peace in the media are lies. They're so good at this exhausting obfuscation bullshit that I just have to switch my brain off rather than work out what's actually true.
But there is likely to have been at least some heavy fighting: https://firms.modaps.eosdis.nasa.gov/map/#d:today;@39.6,52.5,11z

Lukashenko claiming to have brokered a deal which includes 'security guarantees' for Wagner fighters https://t.me/pul_1/9275 This is being retweeted by some western journalists https://twitter.com/maxseddon/status/1672657024419495937

So what happens to Prighozin now then? He’s still carried out high treason even if he’s backed down. He can’t be trusted, surely he’ll be assassinated, executed or exiled won’t he?
-
• #4170
So how much of this was just theatre? Who has been enabling Prigozhin? It seems a bit fishy that he wasn't stopped and he had his little conference with the chiefs in Rostov.

if the americans had a convoy of insurgents traipsing along a major highway into washington dc they would last about 30 mins
actually jan 6th insurgents managed to breach the capital building didn't they. although that was a bit of a sneaky attack with the backing of the president himself
shows how weak the russian army really is

A few days ago the Russian MoD ordered Wagner to be absorbed into the army. Lukashenko securing an agreement to recind that order could see an end to prigozins maneuvers.
sounds pretty plausible. russian MOD wants to absorb Wagner, Prigo sends a big fuck you.

Or it could simply show how much Putin's dictatorship has undermined the power and confidence of the leadership of state institutions.

Awaiting an invitation to meet Put*n so as they can bury the H̶a̶c̶h̶e̶t̶ ice pick

Oh so they are moving to Belarus, is it all theatre to threaten Ukraines Northern border again and force them to spilt forces for the counter attack ? Feels unlikely given he was bad mouthing putin which he was always careful to avoid before
Does this now show putin is as strong as ever domestically or are there now cracks?
Well - I laughed out loud.
