The Pest wears a, well to be honest, a thing I found, with pride.

Love this, looks like something off of a fancy cushion cover.

This morning I had the wild realisation that bicycle magnets are really not a thing, why do fridges get all the attention?
-
• #55
Because they'd bounce off if you actually ride the bike?

You would think, I’ve had one on my bike and so far it’s lasted two days of commuting I’ll report back if it falls.

When I found ‘him’ my first thought was…

Not magnets I'm afraid but we have a habit of 'repainting' bikes with beer can stickers...

Actually rate this quite a lot, it’s giving me Squid vibes with their wild paint schemes!

Was thinking of any magnet really.
I'm actually using neyodymium magnets at work.
I'd try one out but my bike is aluminium almost everywhere. If it's surviving curb drops and pot holes then great.

You might be onto something there, makes alcoholism have a end goal.

So far so good, just need to figure out how to make this magnet idea “aesthetic”

I suppose being able to shape one to the profile of a tube would be handy. Could do head badges.

That that was along my lines of thinking. You would think that with the magnet being curved it would stay on even better. Interchangeable head tubes and decals would be nice.

I guess you'll have to whip them off when locking up. Someone stole a fking spoke card from my BMX once

Something I didn’t think of, though most of these aesthetic accessories posted here could be pinched in a couple seconds. Didn’t know there was a lucrative NFAOA market!

Done similar before (with a can of Strongbow).

Ooh seen these before, lovely craftsmanship. Would even like to give making one myself a go one day, then go with the surly ideology of sticking it on vs rivets.
Adding to the conversation, apart from he forum branded. Anyone able to link some nice bike related stickers/patches/pins?
