Great wheels and a very good price I'm seriously tempted to take these for my XC bike. For anyone else looking these rims were originally designed for XC race use and are the same as their XC 29er rim just labelled as Gravel to jump on that bandwagon. My pair still had the XC 29er labels on the box. Light enough for for road use but strong enough for off road as long as your not a unit or a hucker.

Indeed. Basically XC rims in all but name, but since XC rims got fatter too I guess they are the old DH rims these days!

If it weren't for the bleedin' house renovation I would be keeping them myself!

Just sold my mavic slr 29ers especially to part fund these and got a refund on the way from Sigma on that rim that folded. And because these are identical to my other pair they are easier to hide from my wife 😉

Both. I guess a 32t is tiny by todays standards but I live on the south downs not the alps so it does me fine. These are 400g lighter than my old wheels so that feels like an extra gear on the ups now anyway
