  • By 4 seconds I think?

  • That’s good for Pogacar.

  • Imagine if he'd actually practiced time trialling and had a helmet that fit.

  • Saves his team for a few more days.

  • They're bigging this up way too much. MVDP isn't a GC contender so it doesn't really matter losing time to him.

  • 7 seconds in fact.

  • Shades of Rog on La Planche last year that helmet!

  • Pretty sure he made up 5 seconds in the final sprint, probably did 1500w.

  • Wout van Aert (Bel) Jumbo-Visma 0:32:30
Mathieu van der Poel (Ned) Alpecin-Fenix 0:32:31

    Anything you can do....

  • Pogacar even has a casquette with proper luft. He can do no wrong.

    Siri, show me something good.

  • MVDP should do the Dutch National TT next year, just for the lols.

This has to be pretty crushing for WvA, ouch.

  • Wonder how much those wheels got him? Inspired.

  • Pog stopping the interview to give MVDP props was nice.

MVDP interrupting Pogs interview to give him props was nice.

  • Am I the only one enjoying Peter Kennaugh's punditry during ITV's coverage, feel like he's really growing into it, seems like a nice bloke, great smile, and seems to genuinely enjoy everything that happens with the race, whilst also giving decent insight.
    Is he still racing?

  • No he retired a few years back

  • Now the TT is over and andyp won't mind...

Surely Opi-Omi lady just countersues ASO for not keeping her safely behind barriers and for allowing her to get hit by the wanton and furious cyclists (or something like that) and the only winners are lawyers.

  • Froome 121st at 4'20.

  • It was a closed road.

    the only winners are lawyers.

    … and are Cav !

  • If I could have sued the pedestrian that stepped out in front of my motorbike without looking, causing me to brake to avoid them and break a bone in my knee, causing me to be on crutches for 6 mths, I would have.

would you class what happened as an accident? No one at fault, just one of those things?
Because it wasn't it was totally avoidable.

If I needed the money and I wasn't going to ruin the person's life over it, then I'd consider taking legal action. I'd choose to have a broken knee over bankrupting somebody for a stupid mistake almost every time.

  • @cornelius_blackfoot and @villa-ru
    Something like that.

Saying something reductive like "where there's blame, there's claim" doesn't really consider all the facts. Opi-Mi is only behaving in that way because we support things like "Didi the Devil" while talking about the epicness of how the crowd is on corner 24 or at cyclocross races. etc and so on.

  • What is that helmet...looks like a throwback to an earlier era

  • He’s Dutch so it must have been this https://youtu.be/XsldNxD2mW8
