Nice - I went to a wedding a few weeks ago and stayed and a pub at the bottom of there, had a lovely run up and round first thing the next morning

Got some ok shots from the Sony going around ALPI4000 but we were conscious of time the whole way around so didn't really make the most of it. When I get a better phone I'll likely not bother with the camera.

Bormio. Stormio.
Technically we'd packed the bikes already so this is the wrong thread. But... lightning!

Arguably the best place in Europe to ride a bike, just such amazing vistas at every turn.

Almost 3 years ago I visited the Alp, still unsure if I went wrong here on the parcours

Gorgeous.
The approach to reculver heading west to east is one of my favourites. Gentle downhill, buzzy tyres, views. Dreamy.

This is me in the saddle, taken by my mate on our way to stay over in the Surrey Hills.
Classic Komoot. Although it was very rideable.

1st photo is the Agnel early in the morning; spent the night in the refuge because of a big storm so was the first person up there. Only saw 1 car the first 10km of the descent
2nd photo is on the way down off the top of the Colombardo. Climb was a bastard but the way down was fun (particularly the tarmac)
Yeah I'd cycled the nearby Elan Valley before and that was amazing too, but this had even less traffic, maybe because there was absolutely zero phone or internet reception for miles around.
Like most of Wales its all about the timing, if you catch it on a dry and sunny day its stunning, we got lucky on our riding day, the following day it rained for 16 hours straight!
