i miss my rag. very fast large clearance bike. way too stiff but enjoyable that way, it makes you think about tyre pressure.
Is it a 54 ? drop me a message if you want to get rid ( after stripping the paint :)) -

It's such a good frameset for the money. I normally have 650 2.2s in there at 25psi so have never really noticed the harshness in the frame. With a little one now I can't afford/justify a gravel bike and a CX race bike, the Rag can handle both duties.

I'm going to see how fat a tyre I can squeeze in on 700c rims. It's rapid with 40s

Resurrecting this thread as the frame has just gone to powdercoaters for a new lease of life.
It's going to be a little more tasteful this time round.
The build is going to be fun too!
Bouncy fork and 1 x 12 speed axs with some bodged levers.

Segue alert, but is that the Decathlon front rando bag?
-
• #43
Nope it's a route werks

Oooh, opposite end of the price spectrum, sorry!
-

Its pricey for sure. Fortunately I didn't pay retail for it. I swapped it for some cranks arms, that technically cost me nothing.
I would pay RRP if customs didn't rinse me though. It's definitely worth the £150. I've got the mount on 3 different bikes and I use it every day

Powdercoat looks pretty swish - also the front bag, really like the computer mount on the tupperware lid

this bike is howt!
can it get better than this frame for bang for buck? wow! the versatility!!!! do whatever! -
• #48
Aye, I feel you. The mount is pretty neat, and tbh for a nicely made bag of the same size with the same features, you can’t ask for much more. I have my eye on the Swift Paloma when freshtripe start to stock ‘em, but even then you’re paying £150+, AND have to buy the Klickfix mount for £30 more, and if you want a Garmin mount like on the route werks that’s more £££. Good rando bags are well spenny!
