It may not be artisan but it can toast a full slice of bread.

Element on the main oven of my cooker is gone (I assume, power on, top oven works, fan works, just no heat). Is it likely to be sitting around the fan if I can get this panel off? The shape would suggest so. 4/6 of the screws have seized so I'll need to drill them out

I did mine recently, easy to replace but I had to take the back off to remove the power leads from the unit.

My oven was like that, should be an easy job. Make sure you at minimum turn off the loop at the fuse box

I had to remove mine to replace the top element. Pretty simple if you're methodical.
I think there were a few elements in mine, so I had to test each to see which one.
I was going to suggest plusgas to make sure they are ceased. However, I can't imagine food tasting nice after spraying that. I wonder if there is a way of getting citric acid on them?

Yeah that's the issue, can't spray penetrating oil here, also one of the screws in the back panel didn't want to unscrew. I stopped at that point as I didn't want to ruin the a good run of fixing the dishwasher and finally hooking up the rads in my bedroom without drama.

Not strictly kitchen appliance but kinda, what's the forum approved robot hoover? Vacuuming only no need for mop duties

I have an Eufy one, a G30 I think. It's good for the money (couple of hundred quid) and gets used most days. It's not as good as the fancy Roomba one I briefly owned but that cost a lot more and I'm not convinced all the bells and whistles are worth it unless you live in a place that is all on one level and the floor is always uncluttered.

I backed the bare cookware Kickstarter earlier in the year and it just arrived.
Two pans with lids and a roasting tray/plancha for double burner fryups.
Quality seems good and they've just had their first hour in the oven with a slick of flaxseed oil to improve the seasoning.

I saw those, the roasting tray/plancha really appeals.
Would be good to know if it warps at all across a double induction burner.

Will update once I've done a fryup and pancakes for the kids

We were given a house warming gift of a set of 3 mixing bowls that fit inside each other. This is the last one, that I've fucked by stupidly putting in the microwave.
They're plastic, but not floppy or bendy. They have a silicone grip on the bottom. They have a pouring spout and a little handle lip. They are the right size, they look acceptable as salad bowls on the table as well as being good mixing bowls.
Unfortunately they no longer sell them. Anyone got a suggestion of something similar? Also good search terms would be appreciated.
Procook sell these but they're a bit more kitcheny than I'd like
Cheers.

A follow up is question, is whether expoxying the broken chips would be food safe?

Tkm is a good shout.
Those Rosti Mepal look decent and aren't too pricey.

They're nice to handle, have a rubber at the bottom, and you can get lids. Really like ours.

The IKEA ones are decent for the price, may be not pretty enough for you.
