I know my house isn’t trying to be some Bauhaus masterpiece or minimalist wonder but this bench was £15 plus some wood putty and three coats of Cuprinol from wickes.

I can sit on it just fine.

Well yeah, or you could spend 11k on something not dissimilar and have a cold bum while you sit on it contemplating your life choices. Each to their own.

There are some truly mental people on this planet.

If simple and uncomfortable are the goal, nothing beats this one. Skwer by habit. Will probably cost 1200 with taxes and stuff.
There's also tables and shelves.

Out of curiosity does anyone know what a slab of carerra marble like that would cost?

Obviously a lot more than a bit of wire steel and some wood. But I wonder what the % mark up is on each of them.

Also never thought I'd say this about a designer furniture website, but the copy on that website is great. Really well written.
