• Lush!

Dang, new page, here's the pic again:

  • V nice. Would you recommend your fiter?

  • Whoops, missed this one.
I actually would recommend, he's an ex-pro racer and co-owner of a bike shop, but in Belgium so might be a bit out of your way.

  • In other news, I decided to get the 12 degree Specialized S-Works SL stem over the Extralite.
Not keen on the Specialized branding so it will be painted to match the frame design.

Still need to decide on bars and post, leaning towards Enve at the moment as branding is a bit more subtle than the Black inc. Other suggestions also welcome!

  • Almost finished!
    Next step will be paint.

  • The S Works SL branding on it is very subtle, more so than Enve in my opinion.

The newer pro vibe finishing kit has a stealth look, though not a big fan of how the seatposts look.

  • Love it. Sam really does a nice no bullshit frame doesn't he?!

  • I'm not really a fan of branding at all, or at least the heavily visible kind or overly designed with whatever acronyms sprayed all over.
The Enve kit is a bit much, but next to the Black Inc and the Specialized S-works carbon finishing, I really have not found anything that looks nice but also ticks off some things I do need.
Which are a sb carbon post and an ergo (not aero) carbon bar with “internal” di2 routing, shallow drop and 75-80 reach.

  • Exactly what I am looking for in a bike these days.

  • any progress on the crit biek?

  • Still waiting for paint :(

  • That seat tube cluster is superb!

  • In other project news, Jacek finished the fork for my T1000, should be with me next week.
Was planning on brushing it with a clear powdercoat, but maybe just resort to boring black?

Bits are arriving for this build, will add some pics when the fork is here!

  • Forks look great, Jacek does some fantastic work!
Chased the mounts, put some temporary srews in and will probably brush them and have them powdered clear.

Also recieved some nylon spacers via a supplier at work to mount the BM μ between the rear rack bridge, more on that in pictures later.

Current bottleneck are the vintage cannondale alu cable guides which have been sitting in customs for over a month.

  • Brushed the Orlowski fork and found a can of clear coat on the paint shelf, so decided to do paint myself. Will sand and do another session tomorrow.

  • The eldest parked her bike perfectly while I was passing by after I did the fork.
Will need a custom cap made when she passes it on.

  • Whaaaaat! For the crit bike? Who's painting it?

  • Lucia at Velofique was recommended, have been going back and forth finalising the design past few days. Should look something like this.

    Much excite.
