@chat_rose with some elbow grease an FDM part can look like this :

Hi, the K- edge one is brilliant, it just feels like it should have an “extension” insert. Angle is adjustable by virtue of the screw fitting.

I own a FDM machine and I use Markforged and other technology too at work. It will need a lot of elbow grease indeed :)

The initial version will use a nut and a bolt to tighten the clamp, the 'final' version will have a threaded insert embedded into the clamp.
Keen to see where this gets to, but I would advocate the nut and bolt as a permanent feature. The threaded insert on my Garmin clamp has removed itself leaving me with an unusable garmin mount.

Interesting. The nut and bolt would be a bit more fiddly, but hadn't considered the durability benefits. I guess a component such as this isn't removed too regularly.

Isn’t removed too regularly unless like me you swap your bars too often. Hopefully I’m on my “final” bars now, but without Garmin mount!

I had a test version printed, quite good but not 100% there. The quarter turn mount needs some work and I think the whole thing needs to be a bit beefier. Will dig up the lanyard so I can secure my Garmin to the bars and take it for a test run sometime this week.

I'd interested in a Garmin mount that attaches on the left side. I'm quite keen on being able to mount a GoPro action mount underneath to attach lights. Something that could be iterated in?

Sure, but honestly I'd go for something by RaceWare over my hobby efforts if you plan on hanging a grand worth of electronics from it.
Should be a doddle to draw now I have the other mount. I'll need some dimensions though. What's your spacer outer diameter? Is a 5mm spacer okay? What kind of angle and length are you thinking?
