Raleigh Record Ace, Model 26 stem. American's go mad for them so anything associated (They have a bundle of special parts for them) goes for a fortune it seems. Why they love them so much, I couldn't say. I guess the the name Raleigh adds value in vintage bike terms in the US.

Not classic but definitely sexy

Stem on Felt 4130, it was like VO stem.

I have one and am 100% certain its the VO one rebadged. For the ££, it gets lots of compliments. Would recommend highly

Slightly different angle to VO stem -15/-17. But probably made under licence by the same company.

Guys i need your help with a stem that needs to meet the following requirements:

• 1“/1 1/8“ ahead
  
• 26.0/25.4 clamp
  
• At least -12 deg
  
• Removable face plate
  
• Hidden steerer clamp bolt
  
  

I think the coda and shogun zero come pretty close but they are simply not steep enough :-(

Just seen this thread. Not necessarily akin in looks to a quill stem but I really like my Thomson X2. Reasonably slim and looks a lot better on an old frame than a lot of stems I looked at.

Forgot to post the picture here but replaced the fork and headset on this to improve tyre clearance and love the look of this ahead 3ttt mutant stem I found for it.

Looks even better colour-matched. I really like when the top of the clamp (for the handlebars) is no higher than the main tube, for the quill aesthetic.

Got this GT one that I will be putting on my new build. Will be black or colour matched to the frame. Got a funky Kooka one at home with integrated clamp that I will post later.

No the top cap is the V.O. knurled one, which I think I prefer to the CK one.
