I don't know where exactly as I don't know Edinburgh.

Yeah, it was my dad asking. He didn't recognise it being in Morningside. And it turns out it's in Fountainbridge, just looking very green!

I hope people fared better than us. We had about 5 inches of standing water in our back garden from a blocked drain, and rain overflowing from a valley gutter which then came through our bathroom ceiling.

Ah, that's a wrong caption on the picture, then. I don't think I would have recognised the location even if I'd seen it on StreetView, definitely looks very different.

That location is what I thought initially, but on closer inspection doesn't look correct. Buildings, road widths, bike paths and trees don't match.

That said, I can't think of a better suggestion!

Pretty sure that location is correct, just a slightly odd perspective foreshortening the buildings and retaining wall on the right.

The road signs and bike lane in the background, just beyond the Henderson Terrace/Diggers junction, match up though, the mobile mast in the distance is right, and I think the trees have just grown since the Streetview car went past.

And in bike tag terms, from Oliver's link it looks like lightning might be key to getting the current one.

I know where the current tag is, not sure when I'll be able to get to it though.

I’d give a vote to Angle Pk Terr, there is a fair bit of damage to the pavement and kerb at the area beneath the waterfall, I ride past it most days and had been curious to its cause.

Yeah, but what if more people vote for somewhere else? Eh? Eh? :)

(It obviously is Angle Park Terrace.)

Old tag - Awda Key, St Mary’s Palmerston Place.

It should read :

F**k sake, "left their homes". Thats annoying.

Initially I'd planned to tag the cathedral but couldn't find an angle that got all 3 spires in without being super obvious. I didn't know the key existed.

Upon reflection (and google) this sculpture was installed in 2017. That sign was probably as lairy as you could get and still be next to the cathedral door. I'm not salty about the words anymore.
