Don't know what any of that means but it sounds convincing.
Have you considered a career in copywriting? -

Yes! Learn a frontside grind/slash/kick turn next. They are so nice when you get a consistent hit on the coping
-
• #1409
I thought so but still my point is that frontside slashes are the best

If someone wants this for £400? without the pedals and rack,
Arkane wheels
Wi free wheel
Paul levers
Xl pomp
Tasteful stickers
Nitto bars with ourysIt has been described by many a notable forum members as “the ultimate London bike”, “perfect really”, “surprisingly rad??” And “yeah, there is nothing super bling looking on it but it’s just well put together and looks great?”
If you really want the pedals and rack spot some extra
Think I bought it for 125 in a non functioning condition, had wheels rebuilt on wide rims, switched to v brakes, upgraded the free wheel, all new finishing kit, new levers,
Will put silver spacers back on so you don’t get attacked by glinner out and about
Hmu and come pick it up, just want to ride my homer round London and kinda bored with having multiple bikes / don’t have the room?
Generally just kind of bored of cycling in general lol, building bikes over lockdown has been great, I think I’ve built…8? All different sorts, could barely change a tyre when I started lol. And I think I genuinely do enjoy doing it, fixing friends bikes and helping people out is fun, so is having the tools, but owning bikes, riding them? I only need one. And I had the best one made for me.
Been doing a lot of mood boarding etc about what I want from a bike and it’s always like “oh I just want the bike I lost my mind articulating last year, it really is just the bike I want to ride
So much so when I go out to ride I wish I was on thrashers ogre because it’s ever so slightly like the homer lmao.
This pomp rides as good as one can imagine, but it’s pretty “mmmmmm can’t really do the type of riding I really enjoy on it” which is just… riding off road and around parks, then very slowly between gentrification stations. The pomp is fun and nippy, gets me around, but that’s it, and it’s not even a bike one can leave chained to a fence? Because ultimately I kind of value it, not monetarily but attachment wise. If I’m going to have a purely functional bike I’d like it to be one I can leave chained up and not have to take the tube.
Variety is the spice of life etc but I really don’t want variety I just want to ride cycle paths and jump off kerbs, occasionally fall down a hill if I’m not using it functionally.
More so to the point, while the frame is pretty special/ cultish really it’s just a simple bike, something one could build in 3 afternoons with a couple hundred pounds if I wanted another, it’s just stickers and bright cables, can do it to any frame. I think that’s what this bike has shown me
I don’t really care for bling
I don’t really care for variety
I do care for stickers and nice grips
I do care for big ass tyres
Any bike can be a hesh bikesticks shotgun in mouth

Tis a very nice bike and I doubt it will take long to find the right buyer. Have always thought of getting a wi freewheel to add some variation to my fixed surly.
What’s the current stead then once this has departed?

Will always Stan a WI, rare time where something costs 4x more and lasts 5x as long
I will simply just have that big TVM i had built, the perfect bike
Will put the stooge bars and a bmx stem on, single speed it, then go slowly ride around
Just want them back 😩

The homer looks like a lot of fun. There's always time in the future for more projects.
Obviously I can only speak to my own experience but when bike projects are getting me down and feeling like too much work it's usually indicative of other things in life beyond the bikes, and I need to take some downtime generally.
Although to be fair sometimes it's just because I have too many bikes and not enough space :)

Ah yes, a beauty! Sounds perfect…. Until the next bike strikes.
If you’re ever about for a ramble south of the river. I’m just in Peckham always up for a party paced ride into the countryside.

I’m inclined to agree with this, but I think on the flip
Bikes for me are what I do when I’m down bad, and tbqh, with things going how they are atm things are on the up!
Being able to do non bike related things again, going to the shops, coffee, seeing people outside the structure of cycling has been good! And made me value how much I missed this, where cycling/ bikes sits in my wider life.
Which is much more “one very nice bike”
I’m sure as life does eb and flow I will be bac with more projects, but for now seems good?
@Qebrus am in the Peckham tri borough area, HMU… but maybe not out that far

Absolutely! And likewise, let me know if you’re ever heading out

Glws Maj. one bike life is a fulfilling goal to chase. Frees up the brain a little. Also, you can really sweat the small details when it’s only one bike you have to think about.
Also, crust are teasing the ‘wombat’ atm which looks like a total homer rip off.

If only someone would buy the pomp, we could get started on that

This is the life. I have a 17 mile each way commute so need a roadie and hate driving so need a lockable shopper. Gravel bike sitting up there on the wall looking nervous.

Bars need to be cut
Bb spacers replaced and refit
Single speeded
Also the fork/ wheels need to be examined together for my sanityWill likely dump it on seabass in the week if I get a spot
