Then not content with that fuck up the boat driver tried to reverse it at speed with athletes in the water not far at all from the outboard motors. So inept.

Didn't he crash on the second lap? No one else had any problems. Maybe they will put the ramp back in for the women's but left it there during practice.

If you've flown to Japan to race and flat in the MTB, would you not get on a spare bike and finish? Sink or whatever his name is didn't seem to take that long to get back to the pits (unless he'd bailed and walked directly there? I presume you have to cover the full course). You could rejoin the race and have a Bradbury happen.

Unlikely. He had a brain fart at the worst possible time I think. He's been riding incredibly well off road and on, he was due a mistake. Shame it happened here.
