• Lots available at cadence crystal palace this morning. Mainly bike boxes.

  • One big bike box available for free in Hackney E9.

  • I've got a bike box going free for anyone that wants it and can collect it from Upton Park, (and can bear with the embarassment of the Pinarello logo...) Good for posting a frame etc, comes with loads of bubble wrap, and the drop out spreader things to prevent damage if you want them.

  • Anyone got a box suitable for forks? Preferably near SW Wandsworth

  • Anyone got a bike frame sized box in Bristol?

  • Absolutely loads of bike boxes piled outside Evans yesterday - might be a frame box in there too.

  • Thanks! Will take a look tomorrow 😊

  • Large bike box available for collection from Highams Park E4 if anyone is in need of one..

  • Cannondale box free se6

  • Outside cadence Crystal Palace

  • have 2 bike boxes up for grabs, London SE11

one I ordered from ebay thinking I can sell a frame overseas, still flatpacked
one I received a bike in

    collect virtually anytime

  • Is anyone else finding it virtually impossible to ship the new bigger boxes, or indeed even the old style smaller boxes? They all seem to be over max dimensions for all the main couriers, except parcel force bulk who charged best part of £50 for delivery and I still had to chop the box down!
Annoying as the two boxes I had both came by courier obviously!

  • One large box going in Streatham SW2

    (now recycled)

  • Have you tried Paisley freight? Think it's around £30 from memory

  • Got a bike box in E8. I don’t think I’ll keep it that long though.

  • Good tip thanks

  • I cut 22cm off the end of a bike box, which brought it in at exactly the max size for Parcelforce's cheap rate. You can still fit a bike in it, but you'd need to take the both wheels off.

  • Paisley freight

Used them right now, works perfectly.
I now have a box from them, London N15 if anyone wants it. I won't be keeping it for too long though.

  • banana boxes from your local fruit shop, good and strong and come with a lid, which can also be used in reverse by putting the lid underneath so you've got a double lined double strength box, decent size too

  • 2 free 150*20*77 bike boxes Hackney Wick E9
Won't be keeping them for long

  • 1 free box in se15, 140x80x28, haven't got space to keep it around for a long time

  • I've got a c. 10 metres long by 1.5m wide roll of thin foam packing sheet for anyone who wants it. Came around a mirror I bought online, and would do for nicely packing up a frame or whole bike. Very light and would be scandalous to bin it. Collect free from Highbury N5.

  • Will prob take this if it’s still around in a few days. Will pm next week

  • Frame box available in Upper Clapton, E5. Shout quick as I’m battling to save it from the recycling
