Our Airbnb at the weekend was chocka with LLL tat and Buddhas - they seem to go together.

What is it about LLL stuff, which while perhaps admirable outlooks or nice positions to take on things, just makes the cynics in us think 'oh do fuck off you twee bastard'

The one with text/buddhas had 3 on the walls in the bathroom alone.

The tinkle room place was 100% stocked with John Lewis items that still had the JL stickers attached

No, but the cynicism, whilst not exclusively British, is typically so.
