Full bike comes with TA fork, so probably just a pre-production fork on the stock photos of the frame..

doesnt look like they have drilled the birdges for mudguards though.
I still need to decided on tyres for this too and lighting!
I was thinking about an IQ-X and a Secular:
But now, I'm wondering if I should treat myself to SON or Supernova...

I thought you were doing marathon supreme? You had some in previous post.

They're for my GF ;)

Wow so many eyelets on the new version. I do like those rotated triple eyelets on the fork, let’s you run a rack and something on the fork leg at the same time.
5008 looks good. Are you going for any contrasting anodized colours?

Re: tyres I'd go for Marathon Almotions
-
• #58
Yes, it does look good. I would have normally asked for the triple mount on the back of the fork, but in reality I dont think i'd really ever run a triple cage. I actually just need the upper eyelet so I can use the Nitto M-18 I have with shorter (stiffer) stays, so I thought why not get the spaceing the same as bottle cages and get a lower eyelet added too in case I ever want to put a normal or cargo on.
@MisterMikkel They are the sensible choice, but theyre so dull looking and heavy :(

heavy

I was under the impression, that the Almotions are much lighter than say Big Apples and the like.. Also, less rolling resistance apparently - non-tubeless is the lightest
Continental Contact Urban come in 47, 50 and 55 mm width, if you're not planning on going too much off road. Similar weight to the Almotion too. -

2" tubless almotion is 835 g
2" tubed almotion is 660 g + light 2" tube is 220g
2" marathon Mondail 825g
2" G One speed tubeless is 555g -
• #62
2" Supreme is around 80g heavier than the G-One per tyre..
-
• #63
plus the weight on the inner

g-one speed run tubeless did me good for a year of commuting. YMMV ofc.
the 26 inch 2.0 marathon supreme came out as 43mm on my rim. Which DISGUSTED me and I returned them.

I've used them for the last few years tubeless aready, I was just wondering if there were better options. I am still tempted by the GravelKing SK Plus.

I honestly love mine. The 29 x 2.35 version. They look so good and the ride is impeccable. Feels like an ebike once I get it up to speed. Typing about it makes me want to go ride my bike...
to clarify when I say they did me good for a year, I mean i've run them for a year and not had any problems, not that their worn out.
-
• #67
I like them a lot, my main complaint is that I find they wear a bit more quickly than Id like.
-
• #68
Framebag? I was thinking of getting one from them, and would be interested in your opinion
-
• #69
I know, just trying to add nuance..
The only sub 500g 29" tyres I've seen are the Continental Speedkings and perhaps the lightweight Race Kings. -

Alakazam basket bag, they have removed the frame bag page now, so maybe they're not doing it anymore. However based on the quality of the alakazam, I would buy a frame bag from them. I was so impressed when i took it out the box.

Based on how nice @hollow__legs 's straight cut designs bag is i've just joined their waiting list.

I appreciate that, I dont expect sub 500g tyres in a 2" sizes, its more than over two tyres its quite easy to add 500g in weight.
-
• #72
I understand.
I recently change from Vittoria Randonneurs in 700x35 to Continental GP Urban in the same size. The difference in feel was night and day and I think around 300g total. -

Continental GP Urban
I have and like these although they puncture quite easily in my experience
CSB -

They’re also both tyres which would fit this build nicely. All those other Tyres mentioned are a bit “German trekking bike”ish

I was under the impression the Vagabond was intended for commuter use, which I is why I thought it would be sensible to prioritize puncture protection of weight..
Maybe it's 12/15mm QR dropouts on the fork?
@Silly_Savage it costs 7x as much as I paid for my frame!
