Are there any brakes on the market that have a long enough reach? No
Is it possible to make a Sheldon drop bolt for calliper brakes? Yes
Do I have tools and patience for that? No
Has it sat unused for a while? Yes
Is it fun? Yes

Have a bump. I might have an old R20 stock brake that has reach - can post to buyer for a small forum donation, if they are interested (will check garage tomorrow am). They are a bit flexy though, but ok. Odyssey 1999 or 2000 bmx brakes should reach and turn up occasionally for not silly money too and they are much better.

EDIT: no stock brakes in the garage - sorry. I gave them away to the father in law to refurb his old R20. And we are now not on speaking terms (between them and Mrs c00ps, I am staying out of it!). So no hope of getting them back!
