Best phone mounts for handlebars?

  • Quadlock has been excellent for me, withstands a lot, and yes a case is needed or at least a mount glued very well on to the back of the case of choice. Araldite I think for me.

  • My niece got a bike yesterday. Is the quadlock still the bracket of choice? Does it mean she then has to have a quadlock case?

    I like it. It really works. Id get the mount that doesnt use those stupid rubber rings. I've ridden over a phone after it snapped.

    The annoying part is the phone side mount. I had to add a sticky female to the back of my phone case as it was not a standard iphone.

    I bought a Zefal branded version which has not come off yet.

  • The quad lock case itself is proper robust. I’ve dropped my phone so many times and barely even check it might be broken anymore.

    They have been ratcheting up their prices over the years, which is annoying. I’ve 3D printed some mounts out of spite.

  • Stick-on Garmin mounts work just as well and cost a fraction of the amount.
    Can pair with a waterproof case if required.
