Actually looks a lot like the 2021 croix de fer with the carbon fork, but with slightly less mounts.

easy mistake to make i reckon, they're all painted like this this year, wouldn't beat yourself up

Always fancied a speedvaggen but the import duty just makes it uneconomical . I like this.

gotta ask, everything costs more than i made last year, but the tyres are the sort many would replace from a OTP ribble?

As the Shamals aren’t super wide internally compared to other gravel wheels I opted for the 42. Once mounted they look more like a 38/40 to me.

I’ve read good reviews about the tires and I’m not sure why people would replace them from an OTP bike tbh. If however I don’t like them, Rene Herse would be an option to consider.

@MementoMori Smashing as usual mate. Offset Shamals I had my doubts about, but they are lovely really.
I'd very much like to see a side shot, new gruppo looks quite elegant too. Bike as a whole seems to sit just right. Congrats on the build, bet you're well happy.

Cheers mate! Rest assured, more photos will follow including the side shot. Frame is a lot more sloping than the Baum but first impression is very positive. Happy it’s finally here and ready, was the perfect Christmas gift really.
