that's more like it

Indeed.
Its set up to be adversarial, from the design of parliament itself, with two sides facing each other across a divide, to "His Majesty's Most Loyal Opposition" to PMQ's. -

This House is a great play if it comes around again at a theatre near you. Reece Dinsdale was excellent in it when I saw it last.
There's a whole thing in it about the design of parliament and how things like the distances of the lines on the carpets relate to sword lengths, etc. https://www.parliament.uk/about/living-heritage/building/palace/architecture/palacestructure/churchill/ has more.

UnHerd was founded in 2017 by Sir Paul Marshall as owner and publisher, and conservative British political activist Tim Montgomerie as editor.
Cannot bring myself to click the link for this reason as he part funded gbnews also

Marshall isn't the story here, TruLabour is... I think the piece in Unherd compliments the Guardian review of Becket's book.

Initially I assumed this symbol was some sort of centerist dad group's logo and was trying to work out what the search terms would be.

I know you’re a lovely lady, but this seems… weirdly targeted at someone you don’t like on the forum?

Fuck, I don’t want to get involved in this.
Just a bit pissed.Be nice to each other.
Fuck the tories. -

ah, i didn't think it would convey parasocial malice. more so a light satire of the thread and its frequent (valued) contributers. point taken tho i will aim to abstract it a bit more in the future

is fine imo
If you dont change all the shitty conventions and rules of an antagonistic system pr wouldn't work.
Parliament could be collabatory or Investigatory even with fptp but we choose not to be. Pr changes the way governments are formed not necessarily how parliament operates (winners Vs losers)
