Cheers! Yeah I was wondering about the age - I think my one is a respray, looking forward to getting my hands on it, got a fairly decent parts bin to throw at it - keen to see how it rides as the last proper aluminium frame I had was a CAAD 5 and it was pretty harsh - might try and find a 1β carbon fork for this in time...
Iβm in for a Forum Cream De Rosa ride! We can work out a catchy acronym later... ππ»ππ» -

Iβm late to the party but I just bought this baby. It looks like itβs the same frame but the decals are different.
It is in a beautiful condition.

Thanks for sharing !
I found mine today in Switzerland !
The frame is gorgeous and timeless. -

That's very nice and in fabulous condition.
As mentioned earlier in the thread, yours is probably a year older than mine judging by the headset.
I think mine's 2001 or something like that and has a 1" threadless campagnolo chorus headset. Yours looks to have a threaded headset and quill adaptor so I guess it's 2000 or something like that. I bought mine late 04, early 05 and I think it was ~3 years old then -

Thanks for the update.
Yes it is in an incredible condition and I hesitate between doing a modern-retro build or let it the way it is.

Lovely bike! I had one of these aluminum de rosa's as well but that one was already repainted when I bought it. And I had it repainted again. But i reckon the frame is the same.https://www.flickr.com/photos/68654184@N04/albums/72157650754938702
I would go for a modern retro build with black parts. But the original look is very nice too -

Niiiice! Iβd looked at your build when I was putting mine together - are the forks youβre using 1β Columbus minimal? They look great!

Thanks! yes you're right that's a 1" minimal fork, not too many 1 inch full carbon forks available but I liked it a lot. Sold the bike a long time ago, still missing (the looks of) the bike now and then

Thank you for the pictures. It looks so clean and modern !
How much did you sold it for if I can ask
When you've got it built and things are lest restricted how about a forum cream De Rosa ride in the surrey hills -
I suspect the take-up will be limited as it's quite niche
