I think I may set it up single speed with drops and mudguards for the winter season. I would like a dynamo front wheel too if poss, would make it tres functional.
I don't want to put guards on the AC.

In the mean time have a quick pic of the Marin in current set up...I hacked a rear pannier rack up and retro fitted it to the front and it works a treat!

I've got some, I just need to put them on.
But I am worried about the front tyre clearance on that rack.

Taped it up, water tight, then sprayed loads of gt85 on there, waited a 24hrs, put the post on a vice and just used the frames leverage to pop it out!

Yeah that's ideal, the way it's mounted atm drops it too low. Few inches higher will allow a fatter tyre to be fitted.
