Ooh, good shout, better looking, and will save me the bother of buying fancier keycaps (for a while)
Edit: ordered, would have preferred a white backlight over the RGB, but OOS unfortunately.

I have the white backlit version, loving it. Ordered it direct from keychain, came in under a week.

Best guide on doing the basic few mods one should make to their first mechanical keyboard (Keychron K2)? Looking to further reduce noise a bit if possible (Red)

I have a Keychron K4, where should i be looking for replacement keycaps?
For pimping reasons, rather than necessity.

Candykeys are good. Bought a few sets from them before...
Just be aware of delivery times (some are pre-orders rather than in stock) and which sets come with which size / type of modifiers as there really isn't a standard set of keycaps you get.

Hey had no idea this thread existed , thought I would share my recent Keychron K6 build :)
when I ordered it was only available with gateron brown at the time, but I wanted some better linear switches, so I put the gateron brown where they belong - in a box never to be used again - and decided to go for some Tealio V2 from ZealPC.
I went for the hot swap board so it was fairly straight forward, started with adding some foam inside the board:
I then lubed the Tealios with some krytox 205G0 one by one, took me forever, but definitely worth it. Since I was at it I also filmed the switches with some Deskeys switch films.
Then put everything back together while clipping and lubing the stabs
I was still unhappy with the shit stabs provided, so I later on ordered some Durock plate mount stabs, clipped and with a good dose of dielectric grease on the wires, they work great :)
Overall very happy with it now, very satisfying to type on :)
Now I'm excited by the upcoming Q1 later this month....

I think I only want a to swap out the numpad, so might trawl for random keys.

Could anybody make use of some kailh box brown switches? I've got 100ish that I took out of a keyboard. They were clicky enough for me.

Mine took just under a week, about a month of so ago.

Where from?
I got mine from the link in the post at the top of the page and it took a few days -

Ordered mine direct from Keychron, probably stupidly. Now showing as shipped. So we'll see.

Anyone have a referral link for keychron?
-
• #473
It arrived, but only has the US 2/@ keys. Any sources for UK versions.
-
• #474
hmm
"Sorry we do not have keycap set of UK layout.
Please kindly note that keycap set of ISO layout is not compatible for keyboards of US layout. It works with alphabets keys mostly, but not for other keys such as enter, right shift etc. due to layout difference."

I basically just want to swap the current 2@ keycap for 2" and '" for '@
