Surely the JPW is a randonerding bike, not gravel, and nowhere close to hip hop.

Can someone explain what a hiphop slave bike is? Is this a safe place to ask such a question!? I feel like everyone is laughing at me for not knowing 😔

Can someone explain what a hiphop slave bike is?
Nobody knows

Disagree.
The Surly is slaverer than most of builds posted on last page.
Slave is usually an older frame wid trick crabon components non?
If it has any race heritage (skate stickers) then bonus points.

The bike someone who explains why a certain niche thing is better than another niche thing rides.
Someone who has definitely used the bike to find their true inner self, those things are HHSGB.
In my eyes. Which means it’s not that.

Something overpriced with serves no real purpose other than looking cool. Surly up there have common ultegra and spurred but the one above single speed cable discs with a downtube shifter and a massive MTB cassette. And red ano hubs matching the headset.
Surly will be better for actual riding but the other looks cool in pictures. -

Interesting geo for this Surly as well. There are unfortunatelly not to many big tyre bikes with a more roadrace geo.
This one; 73° headtube-angle. Fork rake 40mm. -

yes i got it here a couple of months ago, it has some small damage on the top tube that needs repair, but planning on building it in a similar way, dura ace 9000 or 9100
