As I said, design looks great. If my cheap one fails on me, I will consider getting one

Decided to give the 100 burpees a day thing a go - thought about press-ups initially but then saw something about burpees & remembered how much I hate them so they must be good for me right? Added in the press-up & removed the jump as my knees are made of shit & do not like being bounced up and down plus I quite like press ups.
10 sets of 10 with a minute or so in between - was struggling at 30 but then started getting into it a bit more, wasn't properly warmed up so that explains that. At least 10 of the press ups were done with a 3 year old sitting on my back for an extra challenge - not my choice - didn't feel too bad but tomorrow morning might be a different story when I try to do another 100...
The chicken coop is finished so i'll start doing Rocky-esque chicken harassing round the garden when I get a couple off the neighbour to mix up the cardio, been out on the bike a couple of times in the last 2 weeks for about 20 miles at a time - it's pretty rural where we are so there's more bikes on the roads than cars at the minute, everyone seem to be going solo which is good to see.

On a tangent to the thread, but Neutrogena Norwegian Formula is my favourite.

Funnily enough the worst my hands have been for dryness and splitting was when my daughter was a newborn...until now when I'm getting back to those levels. Having to do both would be a nightmare!

Oh and also ^^ Neutrogena is favourite for me as well. Junior Oilatum works well as well.

Dont buy Neutrogena please. They test on animals. There is absolutely no need to test cosmetics on animals. Its just cruel. Lush is your friend.

Using my daughter’s Cetreben lotion, she doesn’t get eczema any more.
Was pretty bad yesterday, the skin had slightly split between the joints of 2 of my fingers, alcohol gel was not fun.

How will they fix the animals dry hands?

Just buy diprobase.
Anything else is just marketing and smells.

These burpees are destroying my quads, didn’t expect that, serious DOMS.

I might have to emulate this. My knee / hip hates me but I can work my upper body ok it seems. Plus I'm an upstairs flat and my neighbours do not need me doing cross fit burpees every day.

Alternate days of Zwift and a 45 min kettlebell workout in the garden.
If I go a day without exercising I get very short and snappy with my wife so I clearly need it to act like a normal human being.
Zwifting is good as it tires me out, kettlebells are pretty great at energising me.

good point.

Yeah, I really need to slow it down & concentrate on my foot / knee / hip position when doing these - which is probably a good thing as it makes you think more about technique rather than going at it like a wildman trying to do them in under 5 minutes

Okeeffes working hands stuff is great for splitting, dry hand skin, best stuff I've found by far.

diprobase
Last time my eczema flared up I was given various steroid creams (Eumovate, Betnovate 1 in 4) but the doc recommended either E45 or Diprobase as a general cream (the Doc's preference was for Diprobase as he preferred the clean "hospital smell" compared to E45).

100 burpees done in 5 sets, going to do it in one tomorrow again hopefully.

Week one of leg blasters (https://sawback.com/articles/leg-blasters/) 2 sets of mini-leg blasters with 60s break in between. 10yo daughter did not enjoy them but she persisted.
My skipping is woeful, couldn't manage more than 3 skips in a row. Timing is nowhere to be found. Can only improve.

Jumping lunges are horrific.

Hmm, might try that when I've used up what's on the house currently.

Godspeed, 100 in a row?!

One every 10 seconds like on Wednesday. Going to gradually reduce the time throughout the month.
The design of the power bar spreads the weight a bit more across the frame, and puts the bar higher. Also folds flat, so I have one at home, and one at the office.
