Guilty as charged
7, 5 & 5, they don't need countless little bits of plastic. I am enjoying saving my running medals and bike parts that they'll have to sort out in the future. Along with 2000 odd 12" records.
Ho ho ho
Behave exactly how you want now, kids, but be aware my hoarding is taking notice

Little bits.
12" bits.12" bits are thin and orderly, worth over £500
Little bits are under my feet, every day. Different bits. Bits making scuttling noises as little feet knock them on the floor.
My records are noisy, but intentionally so

worth over £500
Only if there are buyers willing to pay that much.

There are better fillers out there, dependant on how you are painting it.

That's for my kids to worry about once I pop my clogs!
I sold some of my late dad's records recently. I got about £600 for 80 or so.
Mine are a bit more niche, but definitely rarer

I've bought venetian blinds for the kitchen, long overdue but going to make it more habitable. At the moment it's too blindingly bright and windows are overlooked so there's no privacy (cannot be 100% naked all the time in my own home - the travesty!).
Also going to start a deep spring clean throughout the house, and doing minor home improvements. It looks like we have an ocean of time, it would be a waste to have any chores left undone by the end of this... besides, this is a form of activity and exercise.
If I run out of things to do I'll start experimenting with ordering books by combinations of size, colour, theme, author, ISBN, thickness, or other arbitrary criteria.

Ah, this is a good point, I've been meaning to ask - does anyone have a recommendation for an ISBN scanning app that would automate the process of recording what books I own?

I’m love wandering about at home totally starkers.. with the missus.. soon as the weather warms up gonna venture out into the garden topless at least..
Not just me then.
If the situation gets worse I'm going to buy latex gear and a gas mask... for hygiene reasons only, obviously.

Used an app called, surprisingly, "Books" and scanned in the first shelf, which was 145 books worth. I'll tackle the other shelves when I've got some motivation to do so.
