The company I'm at has never been doing better - but the boss still seems to think we will do even better once we're able to return to the office, I think id rather leave before that happens.
The mental flips done to make sure there is no connection to the fact that people are happier working from home and more gets done is outstanding. I'm sure we will do even better when we are back in the office and have people interrupting our work flow all day..

Anyone got any tips on keeping your feet warm, its not colder enough to have the heating on and its only my feet that get cold. Currently wearing two pairs of hiking socks, and North Face thermal slippers but my feet are like ice blocks. Tried a hot water bottle on the floor but kept needing to refill it every few hours. Must be a better solution?

you could get those heated insoles that someone was talking about on the winter cycling kit thread?

How much are you moving around? I find working from home compared to working in the office I tend to sit in one position for longer and eventually get cold hands and feet. A solution is a standing desk or just going to make a new tea every hour or so

I’d say if it you’re getting cold feet then it probably is time to have the heating on - even if it’s just the radiator nearest to your desk.
Either that or there’s some small electric blankets that you could have a go with just laying on the floor.

Draught excluder does your office/home working space door? It’s probably that which is causing the cold feet.

Thanks all, I think one of the issue is, the floor in my office is concreate with a very thin old carpet, not sure it even has underlay which isn't helping. I also probably need to move more.

Put a few rugs down or something to insulate your feet from the floor.
May also be that your chair is restricting the blood flow to your feet.

If you're only in socks I also find it helpful having some house slides/sandals.

Put a few rugs down or something to insulate your feet from the floor.
Top tip is to put some quality carpet underlay under a rug.

Nice, might try some of the options first, fear that I'd forget I was stuck in these and try and answer the door in them.

Get yourself a pair of these. Yes, Uggs are super lame, but who cares when your feet are so warm and toasty? (Plus, I don't wear them outside the house)
Also, maybe try thermal leggings/long johns because your legs are probably colder than you realise if your feet are getting cold. I've been living in my new £14 extra warm Uniqlo Heattech ones.

Printers, looking for recommendations, or ancient hp Deskjet is ok but cheers through ink at an incredible rate. Looking for recommendations of a printer we can get on HP's instant ink thing, my wife is a teacher and is fed up of running out of ink and having to rely on the school printer which rarely works

Colour or B&W?

We got this one at the start of lockdown, it prints wirelessly from PC or phone with no app required and ink consumption is ok. You can set up online ink replacements when you’re running low but it’s cheaper to order online rather than direct from Canon. We love it but might not be the best choice if you’re churning out multiple pages every day.
What wifi dongle do people recommend for when home broadband goes down? Virgin Media has been down since Thursday and word on the street is it might take them til this Thursday to fix it.
We've tethering to 4G on mobiles but wondering if a dongle will have more oomph?
