We’ve got Scrabble , but my partner’s not a native English speaker, so it’s not the fairest of fights. Have Santorini on order, as it has good reviews and was half the price of Azul...

Pandemic is a good one for two I find. It’s a 2-4 co-operative game so can be a bit trickier with just two but a good challenge and if wanted, due to it’s cooperative play style, it’s possible to play with 4 roles on the table and play them openly making each role’s turn together.
A slightly more welcoming option of a similar co-operative idea is Forbidden Island and it’s ‘sequel’ Forbidden Desert. Probably recommend Forbidden Desert more personally.

Midnight Gospel on Netflix is pure brilliance.

I'm halfway through Pandemic Legacy with a couple of the kids. Really excellent, though still freaked out everytime we have to rip up a card or throw something away.

Basketball may not be your choice of sport ball and it’s not really mine either except for the shoes, but the 8+ hour Michael Jordan + Chicago Bulls doc series “The Last Dance” on Netflix is just great filmmaking up there with the OJ Simpson one. And you can’t binge it.
Highlights include the choice of captions for the interviewees

I've just started watching this. I was on holiday when I was about 10, got heat stroke and my aunt bought me a Bulls cap and I got obsessed with them and Jordan wasn't even playing for them at the time. It's nice to find out some of the back story.

I read a review that said you don't even need to watch as a sports documentary, just as a documentary about someone who was the best at their job anyone has ever been.
-
• #271
I've noticed the first episode is alarming similar to the OJ doc. Some people may be disappointed.
