Public Health England and 111 are giving conflicting info we were informed today.

Wife's company changed their mind. All 100 people on her floor have been told to work from home until further notice.

Did he serve you a double shot of Purell with the meal?

He does have a bidet system so I suppose he can offset his extravagant pasta costs with his toilet paper savings.

This is the bit that scared me the most
People keep saying it’s just a flu. Yes sure, but a flu without having had a vaccine can be quite dangerous. The youngest person I know that has it, he is in his forties and has had 40 degrees Celsius temperature for two weeks straight and counting.

But the online tool (which @alialias used) isn't going to give the wrong advice because it takes you through a standard set of questions.
This forum, however...

@Tenderloin Did you go to any of these places?
Lombardy region: Milan, Bergamo, Como and their provinces
Emilia Romagna region: Modena, Parma, Piacenza, Reggio Emilia and Rimini
Marche region: Pesaro e Urbino
Piemonte region: Alessandria, Asti, Novara, Verbano-Cusio-Ossola and Vercelli
Veneto region: Padova, Treviso and Venice
If not, and you got back before yesterday, and you don't have symptoms, you don't need to self-isolate.
If you got back yesterday, you need to self-isolate, symptoms or no symptoms.
Simples.

They’ve finally postponed Fallas. I reckon it’s cos all the football fans just cheered outside the stadium when they weren’t allowed inside to watch it.

Genuinely shocking - who else had no idea Mad Nad had managed to become a junior minister?

And in the latest news, she attended a reception at No10 last Friday. The irony is marvellous.

I know that social convention is such that I'm supposed to type something along the lines of "wish her all the best" etc but to be truthful, I hope she gets absolutely everything that she voted for in every sense, and I hope Boris starts coughing tomorrow too.

Yeah, very much that!

Yeah I know but the advice is pretty lol that bc I arrived back a day earlier I don’t need to self isolate vs a day later and I would. I get you need rules but the constant changing is confusing. Didn’t call 111 but did the only questionnaire which said I was ok so went for a run.

I don't see why that is lol or even weird.
The situation is changing rapidly. The spread of the virus on the ground in Italy can be different over a 24 hour period.

how long ago was this now, ten years?!

October 2009.
Fittingly, TS starred there on Recycled Bog Roll Blues - Stockwell Toilet Watch. You couldn't make it up, it's almost too good to not be made up to apply to the current situation with stockpiling (which I fully realise is to a large extent a media invention).
Wish so much that Wayne was still around.

Just got back from Cheltenham, shoulder to shoulder at the fence, not a mask in sight.
No winners either...

I work at a hospital in the US and a lot of activity has been taking place at the academic level. Less, but substantial amounts, at local government levels. Almost nothing at Federal level.
Local government bans on public social gatherings are trickling in. Lots of state emergency declarations.
Hospitals are converting ground floor clinics into respiratory clinics for all people (patients and visitors) who screen positive to be sent to for testing without actually entering the hospitals.
Inpatient units are being converted to respiratory support units so as to not overwhelm the ICUs.
Universities are closing all over.
All work-related travel and conferences that I am familiar with are being cancelled. This includes national level conferences, board exams, etc. All coming to a screeching halt.
Headlines are still way off base and being presented through a political lens. This will never stop.
That's about it for now. Those in the crow's nest definitely see the storm on the horizon. Not sure everyone else does.
None of this matters. Only way to stop it is extreme social isolation which will never happen.... Or herd immunity, which eventually will.
Economy is going to suffer a gigantic recession.

Not sure what you mean - Singapore is on the list of places I am not allowed to enter/transit but it's still somewhere that Dammit can transit.
111 has been giving out the wrong advice in some instances.
