I think they try to keep everyone happy, people want to go out (I do!) and see people. Northern Ireland reopened to fast as well.

So instead of right away shutting down they don't and doesn't help Boris sold his party with easy slogans on Brexit, and "we the free" chat.

And he won't take anything on, not a megafan of Rishi Sunak but he sorta listens, at least.

Oh and the huge nepotism on Covid work doesn't help...

I saw a press conference with JVT in last week I think and he’s usually pretty straight talking, he seemed to suggest it wasn’t time to lock down again (after missing the first opportunity end of sept) which lured me into a false sense of security. It’s like March all over again but I don’t have a house mate who is going to bangface.

At least I got to go to my favourite Korean place near work for lunch 3 times a week in August and only paid 50%.

I can't find 0.25% CFR on there - the nearest is the 0.28% population fatality rate for NYC, which is a very different thing. The other numbers are all an order of magnitude larger, which predicts, thankfully, a much smaller proportion will be infected.

(also, presumably those projections have their own predictions about numbers of cases. I'm not sure why you've resorted to multiplying random numbers together)
