Was yours ONS? I’ve had PCR results but not antibody yet.

They check up on you I guess as part of the trial?
Yes, go again in 21days for a booster / check up again.
When I spoke to them today to tell them of the positive test, there was no change in the voice, just have to keep filling in the app, the reaction to the vaccine is still an important part of the trial. The track and trace part of the positive test was all done online.

No, the imperial react study. Only had antibody test from being randomly selected.

Some (possibly fake) news circulating in a group chat I'm in that every single person in Shanghai is going to be tested at the beginning of November. All 25 million of us. If true, it would be a) pretty obvious we didn't "defeat" the virus as promised by our leaders back in april, and b) absolute chaos. Exciting.

• #17033
Didn't they do this in Qingdao a couple of weeks ago, admittedly only 9 million people?
-
• #17034
Yep, and pictures I saw looked pretty stupid, making people queue up (for a given definition of "queue") for hours in order to be tested.

https://www.arcgis.com/apps/webappviewer/index.html?id=47574f7a6e454dc6a42c5f6912ed7076
It was posted by someone on here. Recently it was redirecting to another site. Now this link is dead and I cant find the redirected site.
Any help?

Also, a new variant spawned in Spain and spread by holidaymakers, how fun.

Here in Belgium, lockdown #2 is a fact. Only one contact allowed, non-essential shops closed, WFH mandatory,... Only "positive" thing: no restrictions on non-essential displacements.

That's 300 km away from where I live. Would be a daytime job going back and forth. 😊

I wonder what calculation the government is doing???
Ok, one more lockdown while people will still listen to us, and then the vaccine arrives.
We'll lockdown forever if we have to, until this is beat
Something else

They were calculating that the tier system was going to work... Lol.
Pissed me off when Raab said it would be unfair if areas with lower prevailance of virus had to lock down, that’s not how a virus works you incompetent nob.

Also leaking on a friday guarantees a big sesh on the Saturday and probably Sunday, mind blowing incompetence.

.
Hard to say it seems, I read 40-80% of people are asymptomatic.
They check up on you I guess as part of the trial?
And tx for volunteering in the vaccine trial! :)
