Road surfaces are similar to S-E England, maybe a bit better. Some smooth bits and some bits worse for wear. I'd use nice tyres.

Is this Brompton-able?

Yes, should be. It's just a ride on road with a few hills.

Well done! Good speed as well.
You did exactly the route that I had initially planned to do last year, including JoG and Dunnet Head (before I realised it was probably just a bit much for 3 and a bit days).
How was the bit along the North Coast? I'd always wanted to do that bit, but ended up not doing it, after Loch Hope, but I was a bit torn as the Durness/Loch Eribol is lovely. And the bit south via Kinbrace?

North Coast was good and kind weather wise. Last day was amazing till the very end, when you are back to survive is if you can call it that.
Weather definitely helped timing wise. Stuff is quite varied as to if it’s open or the hours it’s open for. We got lucky more than unlucky on this front though. Plus fear of starving meant I carried food a lot :-) -

3 of my riding buddies have just completed this. I couldn't join them but not too upset as it looked brutal

Making sure she didn't get the bus
This I cannot answer, it's been too long for my info to be reasonable.
Edit: spleling.
